Here we can explore the magic that is created when we embody our emotions through movement and make space for ourselves to step into our divine power. With pleasure at the forefront, let’s get empowered by showing up for ourselves and our burning desires during this dance.
Julissa DeJesus (they/she) is a Queer Puerto Rican/Ecuadorian brujx, movement healer, dancer, choreographer, fire spinner, and poet based out of Portland, Oregon. Originally from the East Coast, Julissa graduated in 2016 from DeSales University in Center Valley, Pennsylvania with a B.A in Dance. Shortly after graduation, they journeyed to New York City and began their professional dance career. Currently, Julissa is on their path of awakening the sleepers of our world with movement medicine and serving as a reminder that we are all godly reflections of one another. Julissa is a radiant power-house mover who is known for their energetic channeling abilities and fills audiences with a euphoric abundance of feeling. Our culture and trauma can teach us to disconnect from our bodies and in doing so we lose touch with our desires, feelings, wants, and needs.
